About the Capreol Days Ambassador Competition:
The Capreol Days Ambassador Competition connects young leaders to a sense of community pride. The Capreol Days Events Committee aims to help grow community involvement, leadership, communication skills and self confidence in our young community members.

Who can Apply?
-
Individuals aged 14-18 years old in the 2026 calendar year.
-
Resident of Capreol or has Family who is a resident of Capreol.
Competition Structure
All Contestants will fill out an application with parental consent form and a small questionnaire. Questionnaires will be reviewed by the Capreol Days Committee and finalists will be contacted.
Contestants must be available Friday, July 31 at 6:30pm at the Firehouse Bar and Grill for the in person interviews and competition.
Contestants will be asked to introduce themselves to the public by answering some of the questions filled out in the application questionnaire. Contestants will be asked to complete a speech answering the question what makes Capreol such a great small town and what do you plan to do in your future to stay connected with the community and help keep Capreol a great community for future generations to come. Each contestant will have a maximum of 5 minutes to complete their speech.
Judging Criteria
Contestants will be evaluated by a panel of three judges based on:

Winners Commitments
The contestant selected as the Capreol Days Ambassador will serve a one year term and must:
-Be present and active for the entire Capreol Days Weekend
-Be present to be a judge for the Capreol Days Food Truck Wars on Saturday August 1st.
-Santa Clause Parade
-Capreol Winter Carnival

Code of Conduct:
All contestants and the selected Ambassador are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the competition and during their term. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by the committee may result in disqualification or revocation of the title. Ambassadors are expected to present themselves in neat, clena and appropriate manner at all official events and appearances.
Social Media and Public Image
The Capreol Days Ambassador may be featured on various media platforms and the Capreol Days Media Platforms. Contestants and the Ambassador must maintain a positive and responsible digital presence throughout their term and beyond. Inappropriate, offensive, or controversial posts that reflect poorly on the Capreol Days Events Committee may result in disqualification or title loss. Ambassadors are encouraged to promote Capreol Days positively on Social Media, but should not speak on behalf of the Capreol Days Events Committee unless authorized.
Photo/ Media Consent
By registering for the consent, participants consent to the use of their image and mane in promotional materials related to Capreol Days.
Parental Consent
All contestants must have a Parental Consent form signed and returned to with application and questionnaire.
